Todd Named Publisher of Los Alamos Monitor

Associated Press
LOS ALAMOS — Landmark Community Newspapers, Inc., has named Keven Todd publisher of the Los Alamos Monitor.
Todd has served as the Monitor's interim publisher since August, when former publisher Ralph Damiani left the newspaper.
Todd said he sees a tremendous opportunity to enhance the newspaper and its Web site as a strong voice of the community.
LCNI executive vice president Dan Sykes said Todd brings a wealth of sales management experience to the Los Alamos market.
Before joining Landmark, Todd was publisher of the Lahontan Valley News in Nevada. He also held sales management positions with several media companies, including Gannett, Knight-Ridder, McClatchy and Belo Corp. He earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Texas Christian University.
LCNI, based in Shelbyville, Ky., owns more than 50 small daily newspapers and weeklies in the U.S., including the Las Vegas (N.M.) Optic.
