Receiver Servicing 900 Title Accounts

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department announced Wednesday that a court-appointed receiver for the New Mexico Title Escrow Co. in Farmington will begin servicing about 900 escrow accounts.

Those accounts have been pending since the company has been shut down by the state regulators for alleged financial mismanagement, the agency said in a news release.

In the next two weeks, customers of New Mexico Title Escrow will receive letters from Darryl Millet, the court-appointed receiver, with instructions on how to begin servicing their accounts. The department’s Financial Institutions Division regulators shut down New Mexico Title Escrow in early February.
