Weekend Weather Looks Unsettled

A system approaching from the west will bring New Mexico some unsettled weather for the weekend. Most of the rain will stay to the north of Albuquerque, but there is a chance for some showers on Sunday.

Mostly, the temperatures will be right at normal — in the upper 70s and 80s.

Here’s the official forecast for Albuquerque for the weekend from the National Weather Service:

Today: Isolated showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming east between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

 

Tonight: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. East wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

 

Saturday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Southeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

 

Saturday Night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Southeast wind between 5 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

 

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 77. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.
