ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — An Albuquerque man arrested on suspicion of drunken driving has been charged with at least 10 other DWIs in Bernalillo County, court records show.
George Toledo, 62, was arrested Friday outside of the T-Mobile store on San Mateo and Menaul NE, according to a criminal complaint.
Toledo was trying to back out of a parking spot unsuccessfully when police arrived. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and had several open liquor containers in his car, the complaint states.
Toledo told police he had been arrested for DWI 19 times prior, although court records show he has been charged with the offense 10 times. He has also been arrested numerous times on suspicion of public intoxication, battery and disorderly conduct.
