Gov. Susana Martinez attended the kick-off celebration for the summer reading program at the Espanola Public Library this morning.

The “Stop the Summer Slide” reading event aims to keep kids reading while out of school. It was held at 9:30 a.m.

It was the governor’s first appearance since her plane crash-landed in Santa Fe last night. No one was injured in the incident.
