ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A second fire has begun burning in the Reserve Ranger District of the Gila National Forest.
The Wagon Tongue Fire started on Monday afternoon and is currently burning 42 acres about 15 miles northeast of Reserve, near Aragon, according to the Gila National Forest.
It is unknown whether the fire has been contained, a spokeswoman said. There are about 43 firefighters working the fire.
The fire is not far from the Whitewater Baldy Complex fire, which is southeast of Reserve and which so far has burned more than 122,000 acres.
