UPDATED: Two Survive Small-Plane Crash Near Taos

State Police have released more information about the small-plane crash earlier today.

James Thompson, 57, and Angela Thompson, 42, of Dallas, Texas, were aboard a small plane around 10 a.m. this morning when it fell out of the sky and landed along the West Rim Road County Trail in Taos County, according to a NMSP release.

The pair was transported to Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Santa Fe with non-life threatening injuries. They have a summer home in Taos.

The plane launched from a Taos airport and fell for an undetermined reason. The plane was heavily damaged due to the crash, and the FAA will investigate its cause.

New Mexico state police said two people have survived a small plane crash near Taos.

Police said the small single-engine plane went down Saturday morning. Authorities said two passengers in the plane survived and were transported to a hospital.
