Elizabeth “Betsy” Glenn, who has been with the state Attorney General’s Office for more than 18 years, has been named to the position of deputy attorney general by Attorney General Gary King.
The appointment was announced Thursday in a news release from the AG’s Office.
“Betsy possesses a keen sense of the law and the work we do in the Attorney General’s Office,” King said. “Her experience and abilities as a lawyer increase the level of professional services we strive to provide for the government and citizens of New Mexico.”
The news release said Glenn most recently served as director the office’s civil division and will continue to be involved in civil matters in addition to other supervisory duties for the agency.
