UPDATED: Accident on I-25 SB and Rio Bravo Cleared

The Interstate has reopened after a two-vehicle accident forced a complete closure of all southbound lanes on I-25 near Rio Bravo.

One 6-year-old girl was taken to the hospital, but she suffered only minor injuries, according to a BCSO spokesman. The accident happened around 5 p.m.

 


 

 

A car accident on I-25 Southbound between Rio Bravo and Cesar Chavez has prompted a complete closure of all southbound lanes, according to KOB-TV, and police advise drivers to find alternate routes.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office told KRQE-TV that a 6-year-old girl suffered critical injuries and was taken to the hospital.
