State Police Academy To Graduate 30

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico State Police Chief Robert Shilling will commission 30 new officers at the State Police Academy’s 84th graduation ceremony on Friday, State Police said in a news release.

The new officers have completed a rigorous 22-week training program, which consisted of approximately 1,100 hours of study, including training in the latest police tactics, law and emergency operations.

The graduation ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. Friday in the James A. Little Theater on the New Mexico School for the Deaf campus at 1060 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe.
