Shuttle to Offers Skiers a Lift
The Taos Express shuttle-bus service between Taos, N.M., and the New Mexico Rail Runner commuter train station in Santa Fe has been extended through June 10 and includes service for skiers.
From Dec. 19 through March 31, the shuttle service is expected to serve hundreds of people who ski at nearby Taos Ski Valley. Skis and snowboards are welcome on the bus, and the shuttle will connect with Taos Ski Valley shuttles that operate between the slopes and the city.
A one-way ticket for the 70-mile Taos Express route to Santa Fe is $5, and reservations will be required during the winter. Shuttles run Thursday-Sunday.
The shuttle also connects with the city’s Chile Line transit system. Transfers are free if you have a Taos Express ticket for that day.
