In No. 1-ranked Hope Christian’s 49-40 District 5-3A win over Santa Fe Indian School on Wednesday at the Pueblo Pavilion Wellness Center, the Huskies out-rebounded the Lady Braves, 30-17, including an 11-7 advantage on the offensive glass. … Hope’s leading rebounder was Leala Longmire with 12 rebounds. … Bridget Lee paced the Lady Braves with seven rebounds.

From the field, Hope was 12 for 34 from the field, against 12-for-38 shooting for SFIS. … From the free-throw line, the Huskies hit 20 of 30, while the Lady Braves were 16 for 22. … Marissa Perry was Hope’s leading scoring, going 4 for 8 from the field, and 8 for 12 from the foul line, for 16 points. … The Huskies’ other double-digit scorer was Robyn Walker with 11 points on 3-of-7 shooting. She was also 4 for 6 from the foul line. … Lee led SFIS with 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting. She was also 6 for 8 from the free-throw line.

SFIS finished with 14 turnovers, and Hope had 22.
