ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Schedule includes service on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
Taoseños now have a link to the Rail Runner Express commuter train that serves communities from Santa Fe to Belen, including Albuquerque.
The “Taos Express” providing nonstop shuttles between Taos and Santa Fe begins service today.
Sponsored by the town of Taos, the shuttle vans will make stops in Santa Fe at the Rail Runner’s Railyard District Depot Station and the South Capitol Station, according to a news release from the town. The initial schedule includes service on Thursday and Friday evenings and on Saturday mornings and evenings.
Fares are $10 roundtrip and $5 one-way. Children 10 and under ride free.
The pilot program is scheduled through September, but expanded service after that is already being considered, the news release said.
