Drought watch = fire watch

With drought comes increased risk of fire. My colleagues Pat Lohmann, Rene Romo and Jim Thompson collaborated on a helpful package in this morning’s paper, looking at where the fire risk may be greatest around the state, with special emphasis on southern New Mexico:
