Lovelace Health Plan members now have the opportunity to access a medical provider on a same-day basis at the Atrinea Health clinic at 111 Suite 108 Rio Rancho Blvd., by N.M. 528 and Rockaway.

The Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Tom Swisstack recently celebrated the opening with a ribbon cutting.

The clinic is the result of an agreement between Lovelace Health Plan and Atrinea Health, a company that focuses on primary, preventive and urgent care.

Atrinea Health
What: Primary care facility for Lovelace Health Plan members
Where: 111 Rio Rancho Blvd. Suite 108, at N.M. 528 and Rockaway
Hours: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, walk-ins and same day appointments available
Phone: 505-892-8117

The concept of the clinic is to provide a place where patients can develop a long-term relationship with their medical provider who will work closely with other specialties, such as pharmacists and dieticians to identify and manage problems when they arise, Dr. John Cruikshank, Chief Medical Officer at Lovelace Health System, said in a news release.

The clinic has the services of a physician, a certified nurse practitioner and additional staffers.

There are similar Atrinea clinics at 101 Hospital Loop NE Suite 109 behind Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque and at 3428 State Highway 47, Suite C, in Los Lunas.
