ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — As part of the Placitas Presentation Series, attorney David Reynolds will talk about liability issues arising from the presence of horses in Placitas residential communities and on N.M. 165.
The presentation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9 at the Placitas Community Library, 435 N.M. 165 in Placitas.
Reynolds is a Placitas resident and has jogged and hiked regularly in the Placitas Open Space for many years. He will speak about the potential civil liability faced by Placitas area residents and others who provide feed or water to the horses or who breach fences to allow horse onto private property.
Reynolds will also discuss the potential liability of government agencies related to the horses.
