Photo ID cards available from RR city clerk

In advance of the Aug. 20 special election, Rio Rancho City Clerk’s office will issue free voter photo identification cards for voters who do not already have them.

The cards can be obtained from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the city clerk’s office between now and Aug. 16. Or at one of the following times and locations.

From 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Aug. 7 at Meadowlark Senior Center, 4330 Meadowlark Lane

4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Fire Station 5, 5301 Santa Fe Hills Blvd.

4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at Loma Colorado Main Library, 755 Loma Colorado Blvd.

Voters will need to present two identification documents that show name and address such as: a state-issued ID card, Social Security Card, student ID card, utility bill, bank statement or a paycheck.
