Lobos Up to No. 15 in AP Poll, No. 17 in Coaches Poll (view polls)

........................................................................................................................................................................................

The New Mexico Lobos played just one game last week, but an overtime victory on the road in league play was enough to convince voters in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Top 25 polls to move them up both polls.

UNM (16-2, 3-0 in Mountain West play) was ranked No. 15 in the AP and No. 17 in the coaches polls released Monday morning.

The Lobos were No. 19 in last week’s AP poll and No. 21 in the coaches poll.

San Diego State fell out of the AP poll and was ranked No. 25 in the coaches poll. No other Mountain West team was ranked.
