Lobos up to No. 14 in AP, Coaches polls (view polls)

........................................................................................................................................................................................

New Mexico’s big road win at Colorado State on Saturday may have gained national attention because of the 46 point outburst from junior guard Kendall Williams, but without many losses from the teams ahead of them in the polls from last week, it only resulted in a modest move up in the polls this week.

The Lobos were ranked No. 14 in Monday’s latest Associates Press Top 25 poll and No. 14 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, up from No. 16 in both bolls last week.

Colorado State, ranked No. 22 in the AP and No. 21 in the coaches poll last week, fell from both polls Monday.
