Lobos inch up polls, remain outside top 10

New Mexico wrapped up their fourth Mountain West title in five seasons with a pair of league wins last week and moved up to No. 12 in Monday’s Associated Press Top 25 poll and No. 11 in the USA Today Coaches poll.

It is this highest ranking of the season in both polls for UNM (25-4, 12-2 MW).

The Lobos were ranked No. 14 in both polls last week.
