Matt Angle and Alex Castellanos combined for five of the two-baggers, and Castellanos also added a home run, his 11th of the season and tied with Chili Buss for the team lead. Sean White (3-4) pitched three scoreless innings when the game resumed and earned the victory. Kelvin De La Cruz tossed the final three innings for his sixth save. The teams combined for 15 walks.

In the regularly scheduled game, starter Angel Castro and two relievers combined on a five-hitter in a 1-0 victory. Castro (5-2) went five innings, and Javy Guerra recorded his second save.

Rusty Ryal’s sacrifice fly in the fourth inning scored newcomer Ian Stewart with the game’s run. Stewart led off with a double. This and that: Albuquerque drew 39,080 fans the last three games, the second-most fans to watch the Isotopes in three consecutive dates.
