Poll: Katie Hnida kicked 2 PATs for UNM 10 years ago

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Thursday is the 10-year anniversary of the game that Katie Hnida kicked two point-after touchdowns in the University of New Mexico football team’s 72-8 home victory over Texas State.

Hnida, of LIttleton, Colo., made history earlier by becoming the first female to play in bowl game when she had a PAT blocked during the Lobos’ 2002 Las Vegas Bowl appearance against UCLA.
