ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Even before the University of New Mexico puts 2012-13 men’s basketball season tickets on sale to new customers today at 8:30 a.m., more than 10,000 seats for each home game are already accounted for through early sales to Lobo Club booster members and renewals from last year’s season ticket holders.
“Based on what I’m seeing so far, our renewals are tracking … better than last year,” said Mark Koson, UNM’s associate athletic director for ticketing.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Koson said 10,089 had been sold. Last year, there were 11,119 season tickets sold for men’s hoops.
