ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man robbed an undisclosed amount of money with a handgun from the Del Norte Credit Union in Santa Fe at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, said FBI spokesman Frank Fisher.
The suspect demanded money from the bank teller after showing his gun, Fisher said. The suspect was wearing an inside-out red sweatshirt, black pants, white shoes, a mask and gloves, Fisher said, and was about 5-feet, 8-inches and “possibly Hispanic.”
The Albuquerque FBI office and the Santa Fe Police Department are looking for information, and the FBI could give a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest and conviction.
Bank robbery is punishable with a 20-year prison sentence, Fisher said.
