UNM Football: Lobos, Broncos on ESPN2

........................................................................................................................................................................................

Cha-Ching! It has been announced that the New Mexico-Boise State football game, scheduled for Nov. 30 in Boise, will be telecast on ESPN2. Under terms of the Mountain West Conference’s TV package, that kicks in a $500,000 bonus for UNM.

The bad news: the game is scheduled for an 8:15 p.m. start. The average temperatures for Boise on Nov. 30 are a high of 42 degrees and a low of 27.

Then, again, regarding the Lobos’ porous defense and what the Broncos might do to it, a 10:15 p .m. start on the East Coast will probably have that guy in Vermont (referenced by Lobos coach Bob Davie before the Air Force game aired on ESPU) in bed before halftime.
