SANTA FE – The president of Santa Fe Community College has been placed on paid leave.
The governing board took the action regarding college President Ana “Cha” Guzman without explanation after a closed-door meeting this week. Members said Guzman will remain on paid administrative leave pending further action by the board.
Guzman was hired last year.
The college in August announced that it had hired an investigator to look into staff complaints about Guzman’s management style. Guzman said at the time she welcomed the review.
