APS East Mountain Schools closed; APS, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe public schools on 2-hour delay

Albuquerque Public Schools, Rio Rancho Public Schools and Santa Fe Public Schools are on a 2-hour delay due to the lingering effects of a winter storm that continues to make driving conditions dangerous.

Classes have been canceled for Albuquerque Public Schools East Mountain Schools. This cancellation applies to:
- Manzano High School students who live in the East Mountains
- Roosevelt Middle School
- San Antonito Elementary
- A. Montoya Elementary
* Note: Manzano High School students who do not live in the east mountains are on a 2-hour delay.

All APS parent/teacher conferences will run as scheduled, regardless of delay.

Many schools and government offices throughout the state have delayed openings or are closed.

The following are delayed:

1st Judicial Court, Santa Fe: Opening at 10 a.m.
2nd Judicial Court, Albuquerque: Opening at 10 a.m.
4th Judicial Court, Las Vegas: 2-hour delay
Albuquerque Academy: 2-hour delay
Albuquerque Public Schools: 2-hour delay.
Albuquerque Christian: Opening at noon
Albuquerque Pre-school Cooperative: Opening at noon
Alice King Community School: Opening at noon
Alphabet Junction: Opening at 9 a.m.
Anton Chico Schools: 2-hour delay
Beclabito Day School: 2-hour delay
BLM Offices, Santa Fe: 2-hour delay
Bosque Prep: 2-hour delay
