ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Former Lobo men’s basketball player A.J. Hardeman was involved in a rollover crash early Saturday morning in Odessa, Texas, that left an Albuquerque woman dead.

According to a report from the Odessa American, The Texas Department of Public Safety said that Hardeman fell asleep while driving on Interstate 10 and swerved off the road and hit a guard rail, according to the report. Adrianna Gatt, 23, of Albuquerque, was thrown from the car during the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hardeman and his two-year-old daughter, who was also in the car, were taken to a local hospital and later released, according to the Odessa American.
