Juan Blea will sign his book “Journey to Aztlan” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at the bookstore. It is described as the story of how love led Blea through depression’s fog into the new Aztlan.
New York Times bestselling author Mohsin Hamid will talk about and sign his new novel, “How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5. It’s the tale of a man’s journey from impoverished rural boy to corporate tycoon.
Bookworks will sell books at an afternoon with Marjorie Agosin, author of “I Lived on Butterfly Hill,” at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 Fourth SW. It is the story of how an 11-year-old’s worth is upended by political turmoil in a novel based on true events in Chile.
