Due to intermittent access on the Sage website, the deadline has been extended to submit to the 2014 Sage Making a Difference award.
If you know a high-school senior girl who is committed, charitable and dedicated to change in her community and the world, please nominate her for this prestigious award, sponsored by Sage magazine, Coronado Center and the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
Winners are honored at a spring luncheon featuring a keynote address from a prominent New Mexico woman. Applications must include:
- A nomination letter, about 300 words. The letter can be from a teacher, adviser, relative – someone who can describe how the young woman is making a difference.
- An essay, about 500 words, written by the nominee about what she’s doing to make a difference and why.
