Beekeepers program starts on May 10

The New Mexico Beekeepers Association, in cooperation with the City of Albuquerque, is presenting a certified beekeepers program. The seven-Saturday program will provide education on backyard beekeeping in the context of responsible urban farming.

The program begins May 10, with sessions on May 31, June 14 and 28, July 12 and 26, and Aug. 9, at the Albuquerque Open Space Visitors Center. Classes are from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost is $250.
