Albuquerque water use continues to decline

Albuquerque’s 2014 year-to-date water use is down another 2.6 percent from last year, according to date to be presented Wednesday evening to the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority board:

The water conservation success has been good for the metro area’s dwindling aquifer, it has been eating into water authority revenues, raising the prospect of another rate hike in the coming year. I’ll have more in tomorrow’s newspaper.
