ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — “Breaking Bad” has been off air for a bit and the spin-off “Better Call Saul” has been created buzz.
Where will it be filmed? When will it be filmed?
While official word from the New Mexico Film Office hasn’t been released, a casting call from New Mexico-based casting agency, While Turtle Casting, has shed some light. It looks like the production will be coming back to the Duke City.
Below is the release from the casting agency.
“Better Call Saul

According to a press release from Sony Pictures and AMC, the “plans call for ‘Saul’ to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.”
Bob Odenkirk, who plays Goodman, will again play the role and Gilligan will be involved but writer and producer Peter Gould will run the effort.
