Police looking for missing Rio Rancho man

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Rio Rancho man.

Joaquin Ramirez, 41, was last seen Friday at about 6:25 p.m.

“Mr. Ramirez told family he was going for a walk in the area of Gral Trevino Drive SE in Rio Rancho but never returned,” Rio Rancho Police said in a news release. “Mr. Ramirez was known to walk to the Barnes & Noble Booksellers located at 3701 Ellison Road NW in Albuquerque.”

Ramirez was wearing blue jeans, a gray in color shirt with three buttons and black leather shoes. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, about 200 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on the wellbeing or whereabouts of Ramirez is asked to contact Rio Rancho Police Detective Gill at (505) 891-5952.
