Police investigate separate Friday-evening stabbings

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating two separate stabbings that occurred late Friday, and both victims are in stable condition, police said.

One occurred near Yale and Anderson Ave, where a man was stabbed. Police have arrested one suspect in that case, and southbound Yale at Anderson is being shut down as the scene is processed.

Police also arrived to the 400 block of Mesilla Street SE in response to a stabbing report. They later found a victim on the 8200 block of Central. They have not yet found a suspect, however, and have called in detectives to take over the investigation.
