Mountain West men’s hoops teams mostly clear APR hurdle

The NCAA on Wednesday released the latest APR (Academic Progress Rate) numbers for all sports at all schools across the country.

Teams must maintain a four-year rolling average of 930 to avoid penalty. The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team has had a perfect score of 1,000 for three consecutive years and a Mountain West Conference-high rolling average of 990. San Jose State, meanwhile, failed to make the grade and has been slapped with a one-year postseason ban for the 2014-15 season and reduced practice time during the season.

Here is a look at the latest APR numbers for the 11 teams in the Mountain West Conference (first in a tweet that included all the info in one picture and can be enlarged at least a little bit by clicking on it, then team-by-team scores below that).
