Saturday: Home runs from Joc Pederson and Alex Liddi in the fourth inning gave the Isotopes the lead for good in a 7-2 victory over host Tacoma, evening the five-game series at two heading into today’s finale. RHP Red Patterson (3-5) held Tacoma to one run on five hits and struck out six through six innings. Providing insurance runs, a two-out double by Johnny Monell in the seventh inning sparked a rally. Walter Ibarra drove in Monell with a single and advanced to second on a throw to the plate. Carlos Triunfel followed with an RBI single to give the Isotopes a three-run cushion at 4-1 before the seventh inning stretch. In eighth inning, Mike Baxter doubled with two outs to drive in Pederson and give the Topes a 5-2 advantage.

Next home game: Monday vs. Round Rock, 7:05 p.m.
