SANTA FE – Two more suspects were arrested Friday in a case involving Española City Councilor Eric Radosevich, who allegedly pistol-whipped a man and fired gunshots at the man’s pickup truck during an altercation in Pojoaque June 21.

Benjamin Duran, 29, of Santa Fe, and Samuel Garcia, 51, of Española, were charged with conspiracy to commit a violent felony and were booked into the Santa Fe County jail Friday.

Radosevich, who was elected to a four-year term on the Española City Council in 2012, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault and battery and shooting at a motor vehicle.

He was still in jail Friday afternoon on $25,000 bond. Maj. Ken Johnson said Duran and Garcia were with Radosevich during the alleged assault and were arrested because they knew that Radosevich was carrying a weapon.

Radosevich is accused of assaulting a man and firing two shots at his truck after an argument ensued when the man who allegedly was assaulted by Radosevich came out of a gas station and saw someone flirting with his wife.
