FBI seeking Rio Rancho bank robbery suspect

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for information about a man who allegedly robbed the Bank of Albuquerque at 4300 Ridgecrest SE in Rio Rancho on Monday.

Witnesses said the man walked into the bank located inside an Albertsons supermarket at around 11:15 a.m. and gave the teller a note demanding money. He placed a brown paper bag on the counter and the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money. The man then left the bank.

He is described as being a white male in his 20s with red or reddish brown hair, approximately 5-feet 8-inches tall, weighing about 140-150 pounds.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a camouflage beanie, black jacket with red stripes, black shirt, sunglasses with orange lenses and a black frame, dark pants and white plastic gloves.
