ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Manufacturing Extension Partnership has been awarded a $567,001 federal grant that will be used to help small and medium-sized manufacturing business in New Mexico create new jobs, U.S. Sen. Jeff Bingaman announced Tuesday.
The New Mexico Democrat said in a news release that the grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
“Our economy continues to struggle, so we must continue to take steps that create good jobs,” Bingaman said. “This grant is an important investment in our state’s manufacturing future.”
