Driver arrested in fatal crash

HOBBS – Police say a 27-year-old Arizona man has been arrested in a head-on collision in which two people were killed.

Hobbs police said Keevisen James Gould of Red Valley is accused of two counts of homicide by motor vehicle and one count of great bodily harm by motor vehicle.

The crash occurred Friday on the Lovington Highway.

Police said those killed were Priscilla Mungia of Hobbs and a 6-year-old child whose identity was withheld. A passenger in Gould’s pickup was seriously injured.
