Opponents of the Israeli invasion and shelling of Gaza gathered in downtown Santa Fe Wednesday for a march from the Plaza to the offices of Sens. Martin Heinrich and Tom Udall, both Democrats.

Some 50 protesters, who carried signs and used a megaphone to shout their message, delivered letters to the senators with their complaints. They chastised the senators for their support of the Israeli invasion, contending that it was responsible for destruction of homes and crucial community institutions, as well as the deaths of countless civilians.
