While some big name local fighters are on the UFC card tonight in California, other local fighters are looking to make a name for themselves tonight in town.
“Triple A MMA VIII” takes place tonight at the Crowne Plaza Ballroom inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel, with Jackson’s MMA’s Conrad Padilla (5-1) meeting FIT-NHB’s Isaiah Reyes (7-4) at 145 pounds in the main event.
Reyes has a 71 percent submission finishing rate in his seven pro wins. Padilla is looking to bounce back from his first defeat.
The co-main event rounds out the professional side of the card. West Side Power Gym’s Lindsay Jones makes her pro debut at 125 pounds against El Paso WMMA fighter Jessica Armstrong, who trains out of Get Fit Gym.
The scheduled undercard:
- 205: Elias Proce vs. Patrick Alaya
- 155: Hunter Tower vs. Mike Silva
- 145: Henry Barahona vs. John Duran
