Breast cancer survivor Sylvia Bencomo said she opened her Angel Wellness Boutique last year to give women who are going through cancer treatment a place where they can find wigs, turbans, breast forms, post-surgical clothing and skin care products to meet their needs.

The boutique is located at 8318 Fourth NW in Los Ranchos between Ranchitos and El Pueblo.

She is holding an anniversary celebration from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9.

The event begins with a yoga class.
