ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Flash Flood Warnings Issued in East
Heavy rain is falling in eastern New Mexico this morning as the storms that rolled through the Albuqueruqe metro area Sunday night slowly move out of the state. The National Weather Service has issued flash flood wathces and warnings for much of the eastern part of the state.
There’s a good chance rain will continue during the day today and temperatures will be in the 80s this afternoon. To see a map of rainfall reports across the area, go here.

Today: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Tuesday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 92. North wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.
