Tech Tuition Hike Proposed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology is looking to increase tuition next school year, in addition to paying for a 2 percent raise for employees.

The suggested increase would raise tuition by 4 percent, according the school’s website.

This will be the first time employees see a pay raise since before 2008, when a wage freeze was instituted.
