Statement on La Cueva Baseball Coach

Albuquerque Public Schools has completed an internal investigation into allegations of employee misconduct involving La Cueva High School coach Stan McKeever. The findings of this investigation along with a hearing provided to him resulted in a decision to discharge Mr. McKeever by an APS Disciplinary Committee.

Mr. McKeever has a right to appeal the decision to Superintendent Winston Brooks. Neither Mr. Brooks nor anyone with APS can comment on the matter further until a final decision has been made.
