8:45am UPDATE: KRQE News 13 is reporting that the victim of a single-vehicle rollover crash this morning on Interstate 25 was from Belen, but the 37-year-old driver's name still hasn't been released.

Police says it's still not clear when the accident occurred, but another driver spotted the wreckage around 4 a.m. after noticing gouging in the pavement, News 13 said.

State Police are investigating a fatal rollover crash on Interstate 25 early this morning, KOAT-TV reported.

The driver of a pickup truck lost control while traveling northbound around 4:30 a.m., and his vehicle flipped several times onto a field off the highway, officers told Action 7 News.

The driver -- identified only as a 37-year-old Hispanic male, whose name is being withheld pending notification of family -- was killed on impact, KOAT-TV reported.
