It's not the Rail Runner as you may have heard earlier, but a train is reported to be on fire near Tierra Grande and Saiz roads in the Belen area, 770 KKOB Radio is reporting.

Lawrence Rael of the Middle Rio Grande Council of Governments told KKOB that  a Rail Runner train was not involved in the fire which broke out shortly before 8 a.m. but that he understood it was a Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight train.

There is no report of injuries or of what caused the fire, but a number of firefighting crews are at the scene, according to KKOB's traffic reporter Helen Wheels.
