Alameda Boulevard at the railroad tracks will be closed in both directions from 9 p.m. tonight until 5 p.m. Sunday so that rail crossing equipment can be replaced, the state Department of Transportation tells the Journal.

Railroad ties and pads are being replaced, said DOT spokesman Phil Gallegos.

Detour routes will be posted, but drivers are encouraged to look for an alternate way.

According to Metropolitan Court records, Lollis has two previous arrests for possession of a controlled substance.

Police are looking for a 22-year-old man wanted in connection with Thursday’s shooting death of a Highland High School student.

A warrant was issued today for Raymond Lollis, charging him with an open count of murder, shooting at or from a motor vehicle and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

About 4 p.m. Thursday, police say Ryan Vigil, 17, and two other teens were driving around a park near Lomas and Louisiana throwing golf balls at people. At one point, they threw a golf ball at Lollis, police say.

Lollis ran to his apartment, got into a vehicle and went looking for the teens. He caught up with them at the corner of General Arnold and Copper NE, stepped out of his vehicle and fired once into the back window, hitting Vigil, 17, police say.
